Mission Statement:
To prevent the spread of HIV and to respond to the needs of people affected by HIV while recognizing and respecting the dignity and privacy of all individuals.
Goal:
To prevent the spread of HIV and respond to the needs of people and families affected by HIV while recognizing and respecting the dignity and privacy of all individuals.
Services:
- Assist HIV positive clients by linking them to medical care and other available services through networking and referrals
- Educate clients regarding current HIV/AIDS treatments and therapies
- Provide HIV counseling, testing, and referrals for high-risk individuals over the age of 13
- Provide HIV prevention interventions including, but not limited to outreach and risk reduction counseling
Service Area:
Madison, Bond, Clay, Clinton, Jefferson, Jersey, Macoupin, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Randolph, St. Clair, Washington and Wayne counties.
Client Eligibility:
People living with HIV or AIDS, and individuals “at-risk” for acquiring HIV.
Referral Process:
Self-referral, agency, healthy department, school and physician referrals accepted.
